Propylene glycol is an ingredient in E-Cigarette liquid, including the Magic Puffer Starter Kit. It creates the “smoke” that you exhale. If you keep up with E-Cigarette news and controversy you may see this ingredient mentioned as being an ingredient in anti-freeze. This is being used to create a scare around e-cigarettes in an effort to slowly ban them. Now, I am not going to be making any health claims as to Propylene glycol or an e-cigarette in general. I feel people are responsible enough to make an informed choice on using these products. I do happen to be someone who reads ingredient labels a frequently, and have come up with a short list of other products that contain Propylene glycol.
A few weeks ago I was feeding my in-laws dog a treat, called Pup-peroni, and while reading the list saw Propylene glycol listed under it. So I wondered what else do we commonly use that has propylene glycol from common household items.

I have read Propylene Glycol is also found in some yogurts, ice cream, and inhalers. Please comment where you have found this ingredient.
Great website I will definetly stop by, come back to check this out more often.
Antifreeze contains ethylene glycol, not propylene. Ethylene is poisonous, propylene is generally classified as non-toxic and used as a food constituent. Both have “sweet” tastes, therein lies the problem for people and animals.
Theres good and bad reviews with Propylene gylcol as with any other product, I would suggest everyone do their own research. While one study which was done back in 1942 says this product may even prefect many upper resipitory problems, encluding Phenumonia. Others say that when inhaled Propylene glycol can be harmful. The FDA says Propylene gylcol is safe in small doses even if enhalded because it leaves the body very quickly.
